General regulations

The SPPF (Société civile des Producteurs de Phonogrammes en France) is a collective management organization governed by articles L. 321-1 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code (hereinafter “IPC”). It is governed by the provisions of articles 1382 and following of the French Civil Code and by Title II of Book III of the IPC.
 
The SPPF is a non-trading company, constituted in the form of a civil company, whose main mission is to collect neighboring rights and to distribute them to its members.
 
To this end, the SPPF implements rules of transparency, ethics, and good governance to ensure its missions.
 
This website, property of the SPPF, has been designed and published to meet the expectations of its members, independent producers of phonograms and/or music videos, and of users of recorded music by offering them practical and relevant information as well as adapted services intended to facilitate the collection and distribution of remuneration for their neighboring rights and, on the other hand, to inform the interested public about the ecosystem of neighboring rights and the users of recorded music about their obligations.
 
The present general conditions of use (hereinafter “GCU”) defines the terms of consultation of the SPPF website and access to the services it offers. The consultation of the website implies acceptance of these GCU and an undertaking to respect them.
 
The GCU are governed by French law. They are applicable to you as soon as you access this website, whether from the home page or from any other page.
 

As the GCU may be updated from time to time, you are invited to consult them when you access the website from the home page or any other page. If you continue to use the website after changes are posted, the terms of use of the website will be those applicable at the time you use it.

You agree to use this website in accordance with all applicable laws, public policy and morality, and to comply with the GCU and other specific terms and conditions set forth in certain pages of the website (e.g., “Associates Only” access).
